Barbera d’Alba DOC
The vineyard is located on the border between Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle, the terrain is complex, with a prevalence of organic layers, the blue marls are at a depth from 1 to 3 meters.
It originated by old clones.
Fermented in still and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 15 months.
Deep ruby red with slight garnet reflections, released through the freshness typical of barbera, hints of cherry, blackberry, raspberry and cassis. A wriggle balsamic gives finesse to the bouquet expressive and dynamic, slightly spicy, good tannins and persistence. It’s elegant and balanced.
It matches well with red meat, medium seasoned cheeses and fish.
